The Digital Media Exchange (DMX) contest is now accepting entries for original film, video games, animation, 2D portfolio, social media, and webcast journalism projects created individually or as part of a small team (2-12 students).  Cash prizes will be awarded to first, second, and third place winners in each category, as well as an overall Best in Show cash prize of $1000.  The contest is co-sponsored by Dell.  SUBMISSION DEADLINE:  April 16, 2010

All submissions must follow decency standards and cannot contain profanity, nudity, potentially libelous material, or any other unacceptable material. Likewise, all submissions must obtain all copyright approval for borrowed content. Skillpoint Alliance is not responsible for copyright infringement.  Entrants are encouraged to use original content. Each student competitor is required to sign an image/audio release form. All members of a team must submit completed release forms.

The Digital Media Exchange is a regional competition inviting Central Texas high school students to showcase their digital media skills to industry professionals, educators, and community leaders.  Student projects are evaluated on the basis of quality, creativity, and presentation.  To be eligible, students must be in 9th-12th grade.  Winners will be honored at an awards ceremony and reception held Saturday, May 1, 2010.
